DRDO Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	Essential: M.Sc in Horticulture/Vegetable Science/Agronomy/Soi Science in first division with NET qualification. Essential: M.Sc in Microbiology in first division with NET qualification Essential: M.Sc in Biotechnology in first division with NET qualification. Or Essential: M.E/M.Tech in Biotechnology in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level. Essential: M.Sc in Botany in first division with NET qualification.
Research Associate (RA)	Essential: Ph.D. in Chemistry. Desirable: Experience in analytical Chemistry and handling of modern analytical instruments. Essential: Ph.D. in Renewable Energy. Desirable: Experience in the field of biomass gasification, bio-methanation. Industrial application, thermochemical conversion, green diesel chemistry.

Age Limit

1. The upper age limit of JRF - 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
2. The upper age limit of RA - 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

Age Relaxation

1. Age Relaxation will be as per Indian Government rules.

1. For Scientist B in DRDO posts: Selection will be based on a valid score of GATE 2017/2018/2019, Descriptive Examination followed by Interview.

Pay Scale

1. Selected candidates Stipend will be Rs. 31,000/- per month for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Rs. 54,000/- per month for Research Associate (RA).
